General Comments About the Boat
Derrineel is a well maintained Dutch replica boat.
She has two private bedroom suites front and rear with ensuite shower and bathrooms. Each has a full- sized double bed and ample hanging and storage space..
The saloon has comfortable seating for six, the dining table and chairs are versatile for indoor or outdoor meals. The saloon is equipped for audio listening and a very efficient portable air conditioning unit. Space heating is from a Morso ‘Squirrel’ multi-fuel stove together with diesel central heating system with radiators in each room.
There is 240v AC power from shore power or via inverter/engine batteries when shore power is unavailable. All on-board lighting is LED and there is (subject to having a shore connection) a mains supply for the kettle, microwave, immersion heater and air conditioning.
The kitchen is very well equipped with full sized electric fridge, gas cooker and 4 ring hob, microwave, and a full complement of crockery, cutlery, glassware and kitchen utensils.
The wheelhouse has comfortable room for all to enjoy the voyage; the roof and windscreen are demountable for warm weather.
There is easy access a via large floor panel to the engine, batteries, hot water, boiler and central heating system as well as a store for spares, tools, replacement fenders etc
Duvets, mattress protectors and pillows are provided and replaced on an annual basis with owners bringing their own covers and towels to use when on board.
Two bikes are available for exploring further afield. Local information of interest is kept on board.
